Lock types

Transom clamp locks fit through the engine's mounting bracket to prevent it being lifted off. Cable/chain locks secure the engine to a fixed point on the boat or trailer as a visible deterrent.

Fitting guide

Fit any lock through both the transom bracket and the boat structure itself, not just around the engine — a lock that only secures the engine to its own bracket does nothing to stop the whole assembly being lifted off together.
